On Thursday evening 27th September 2012, very experienced Bolton MRT call out list members Diane Blakeley and Neil Warburton, along with one of our Team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicles, visited Harwood Methodist Ladies Fellowship, at Longsight Methodist Church, Harwood, Bolton.
We had been invited along to give a talk about the role and work of the team, by Neil’s former primary school teacher Mrs Gerrard.
Approximately thirty members of the Ladies Fellowship arrived and were keen to hear more about our work.
The evening was a great success and ended with the launch of Harwood Methodist Ladies Fellowship support of Bolton MRT, as their Charity of the Year 2012 – 2013.
Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a very kind and thoughtful donation of £180.00 from Harwood Methodist Church Ladies Fellowship, along with a letter from Ladies Fellowship member J.M. Booth , stating “Thanking you for all the good work you and your team carry out.”
The whole team membership would like to thank all the members of Harwood Methodist Church Ladies Fellowship for this very appreciated and generous donation.
