On Friday 26th April 2013, Our much appreciated friends at Darwen Dashers Running Club held their ‘FELL!’ event, an evening of Off-Road Running Films.
This event, held at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, Sudell Road, Darwen, opened its doors at 7pm, featuring Naylors Run – Fell running legend Joss Naylor, the Bedlamites – night running on Great Whernside, plus a full supporting programme, and was followed by after show drinks at the Black horse, Redearth Road, Darwen.
Today the organiser of this event, valued team friend and supporter, Simon Fox of Darwen Dashers Running Club, informed our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, that the event had raised in total £110.50p, with 50% raised going to support Darwen Dashers Running Club, and a very supportive donation of £55.25p being made to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
The whole team membership, sends out yet again its full and sincere thanks to all at Darwen Dashers Running Club for their continuing and much welcomed support of the Bolton MRT.
