Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th October 2013

Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following very kind email from Kirsty Read, of Norfolk LSART, a trainee who attended this weekends Foundation Course in Mountain Rescue.

“Hi Garry,
I just wanted to thank you and your team for a great weekend. I was employed by BKLWN Leisure Department and one of my responsibilities was to organise and run staff training session for the lifeguards. I fully appreciate the amount time and effort you have put in to arrange this course.”

“I learnt a great deal and was at times put outside my comfort zone which I haven’t experienced in a while.”

“The Norfolk team has picked up stuff that we can apply to our role as lowland search and rescue.”

“Many Thanks again, and I hope that we will meet again in the future.
Kirsty Read (Norfolk team)”

We are also aware already of many excellent comments on Facebook and Twitter regards this Foundation Course held over this immediate past weekend.
