This evening at our weekly training session team trainee member in his full time capacity as GMP Force Duty Officer, Inspector Michael Eddleston, delivered to all our call out list operational members present, (thirty six members) a thorough briefing on the use and operation of ‘Airwaves’ radio equipment as utilised by GMP and Lancashire Constabulary.

Similar briefings have been delivered by Inspector Michael Eddleston to our colleagues in Oldham MRT and Kinder MRT.

He was assisted this evening by long serving and very experienced team member Steve Fletcher, in his capacity as our Equipment Officer (Communications and IT)
