On Thursday evening 19th September, 2013, team member Dave Cook visited the members of Bury / Bolton ME / CFS Support Group to give a presentation on the work of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Very kind donations totalling £54.49p were received by Dave on behalf of the team with thanks on the evening, and following his talk.

Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was very pleased to receive a further kind donation of £25.00 from Carole Senior, along with a kind card stating;

“Many belated thanks to Dave Cook for a very interesting talk to our ME group (Way back in September)”

“You provide an essential service plus I can only admire the commitment of your members and their dedication.”

“I know my donation is at least three zero’s short of a vehicle for you, but maybe a wiper blade!”

“Thanks again, for Dave’s presentation and as a former fell walking enthusiast, for the wonderful work you do.”
