With all our vehicles excepting Land Rover BM4 at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ, alongside sixteen team members, for our monthly scheduled Vehicle and Base / HQ Valet day, we were therefore in an excellent position to respond to a pager call for the teams assistance at 10.56hrs from NWAS (Manchester) EOC Parkway.

NWAS had responded to the report of a collapsed male with chest pains, in open grassland and woodland in the Ellesmere Park area of Eccles.

When the NWAS (Manchester) solo crewed Response Vehicle arrived at the RVP (In advance of the responding NWAS Emergency Ambulance) it was thought that mountain rescue assistance might be required to evacuate the male back to the nearest road head.

We responded with sixteen team Call Out list members in three of our team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicles (BM1, BM2 and BM3) from our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.

During the emergency response drive, we were paged by NWAS (Manchester) EOC Parkway, at 11.11hrs to stand down our response, as the incident could be dealt with by the NWAs resources which had attended.
