Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

26th April 2013

Yesterday, Thursday 25th April, our Incident Control Vehicle Project Officer (Also our Team Treasurer) Martin Banks made another of his regular visits to Coleman Milne of Westhoughton, to review the progress of the final stages of the build on our eagerly awaited new Incident Control Vehicle., based on a VW Crafter Vehicle.

With the extending, centrally mounted radio mast fixtures and fittings now being installed, and the comprehensive electrics being commissioned, the build team are working towards a completion date of 2nd May 2013.

On completion, and after registration, the team will then need to prepare the vehicle for operational use including the programming and set up of the multiple radios and very extensive IT equipment as well as ’loading’ medical, search and scene management equipment that this eagerly awaited new addition to our team vehicle fleet will carry.
