Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

23rd April 2013

This evening, whilst some members were hosting a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by Scouts from Sale, others were busy visiting the Ladies of St Maxentius Church, Bradshaw to give a presentation on the work of the team.

Team Call Out list members Dave Cook and Diane Blakeley, accompanied by Trainee Member Doctor Richard Moss, took along our BM2 Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicle for this evenings visit.

The ladies of St Maxentius Church were treated to a DVD presentation on the work of the team and a demonstration of the search and rescue equipment carried on our BM2 vehicle.

At the end of their visit the three team members were very kindly presented with a ‘Speakers Expenses Donation’ of £20.00, and were then totally surprised by a fantastic and incredibly thoughtful impromptu collection donation of an amazing £107.40p!

Dave, Diane and Richard on behalf of all the Bolton MRT membership wish to extend their fullest thanks to all the very kind Ladies of St Maxentius Church, for their very generous and thoughtful support of the team with their wonderful total donation of £127.40p
