Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

1st February 2014

This morning at 10.00hrs, eighteen Team Call Out list members assembled at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to journey onwards to Canon Slade School, Bolton, to provide standby rescue cover for the Greater Manchester Schools Cross Country Championships being held there.

Eight separate races, the first at 11.00hrs and the last at 13.15hrs, were held, attracting circa 382x young runners.

We had all four of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicles present, plus our Incident Control Vehicle, with vehicles and team members around the Cross country course.

We have reported on one Incident above (See ‘News’ report Incident 17) but the team also attended to a small number of minor injuries, as would be expected at an event of this nature.

We would like to thank Greater Manchester Cross Country Championships for their kind cash donation to the team at this event of £60.00.
