Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

Late this evening whilst providing assistance to NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) – please see previous website report below, the team responded to two incidents, the first at 22.50hrs and the second at 23.23hrs, both at residential properties in the Farnworth area of Bolton and both involving falls to elderly female casualties.

Our Land Rover’s BM2 and BM4 attended Incident 102 (Six team members involved on scene) with our Land Rover BM3 (Three team members involved on scene) attending the second incident of the evening.

On both incidents the casualties were transported to Royal Bolton Hospital in Bolton MRT Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances.

In addition to the above we were also requested by NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) EOC to place our BM1 Land Rover on standby at Wigan Ambulance Station (This vehicle actually received its first call at 00.32hrs during the early morning of New Years Day, Tuesday 31st December 2013)
