Congratulations to Julian Carradice, aged 52 of Gosforth, Cumbria, a former team member of Wasdale MRT (1979 to February 2012) and Team Leader of Wasdale MRT 1999 to 2010, who has been appointed a Member of the British Empire “For Services to Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team.”
Julian is now a member of the Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit.
Congratulations to (Tim) Mark Hodgson, of Keswick MRT, a member with the team for forty years, and Team Leader of Keswick MRT for the last nineteen years (And Deputy Team Leader for the three years previous to that) who was been appointed a Member of the British Empire “For Services to Mountain Rescue.”
Congratulations to Gari Finch of Cleveland MRT, of Great Ayton near Middlesborough, who is also the Chair of the North East Search and Rescue Association Association (The regional mountain rescue organisation in that area) who has been appointed a Member of the British Empire “For Services to Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team.”
The above three were recently announced in the New Year’s Honours and our full congratulations are sent to all three in recognition of their outstanding contribution to Mountain Rescue.
