Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

4th December 2012

Further to our website news report of Friday 30th November, regarding our latest equipment donation to our colleagues at Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team, this morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the following email from Paul Chamberlain, Chairman / Team Leader of Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue Team;

“Dear Garry,
A big thank you once again to yourself, the rest of the team and Chris for the Dragon Lights…….. Once again we are indebted to you for your kind donation. I hope Chris passed on the message that the Magnum Lights were used during training, and again are used regularly on call-outs. The Dragon Lights I am sure will see equally as much use.”

“It was great to see Chris at our training session on Friday, if not a little surreal to hear ’Bolton Mobile 4’ over the radio!”

“News from the flatlands, just to keep you up to date, we have had a busy weekend, training and call outs, with the team involved in 5 separate activities! We now have a fully qualified Swiftwater Rescue Team, who have already been called out by a neighbouring police force and placed on stand-by by the Norfolk Fire Service. Looking forward to catching up on the phone in the next week.
Kind Regards,
Paul.”
