In the continuation of the previous days search, (See Incident 77) our SARDA (Wales) specialist Trailing Search Dog Boris, along with his handler, Bolton MRT member Steve Nelson, was called out to assist in the operation this morning, leaving his Bury home at 08.45hrs to travel to the search RVP at Harrogate.
Here Steve met Bolton MRT Training Officer Elaine Gilliland who was acting as his navigator, Elaine having journeyed from the MREW National Mountain Rescue Party Leaders Course.
Graham Roskell had been reported missing on Saturday morning, 3rd November, and following major mountain rescue search involvement yesterday, specialist resources were requested to assist in the search today, assisting Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team.
Elements of today’s search was centred upon Harrogate Hospital.
Steve, Boris and Elaine all concluded their involvement early this evening, journeying back to their home area, arriving back here around 19.30hrs.
North Yorkshire police enquiries are continuing with a view to locating the whereabouts of Graham Roskell.
