Yesterday daytime on Thursday 25th October, our Team Secretary and Support Group member, Gillian Gregory, was pleased to welcome James Holman of Bolton Chiropractors, Chorley New Road, Bolton, and his colleague, Kathleen Patel, to our Base / HQ at Ladybridge Hall.

James is keen to take part in a sponsored run in 2013 to raise funds for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and came to see how any money raised would be beneficial to the Team. Gillian gave James and Kathleen an insight into our work and showed them round our Base / HQ facilities, pausing for a photograph with James in front of one of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances.

James explained that he often encourages his patients to take up outdoor exercise, so it is good to know that help from Bolton Mountain Rescue Team is available if any accidents should occur. Because of the totally voluntary nature of the organisation, he wished to show some support for our work.
