This evening our Secretary Gillian Gregory received the following kind email from Bolton Liberal Democrats Chairman Eric Hyde, regarding his visit to us this same afternoon, in the company of other Liberal Democrat colleagues and Chris Davies MEP, Liberal Democrat MEP for North West England.

“Dear Gillian,

We would like to thank you for the hospitality that Bob,Garry, Martin and your members showed us today.

The trouble you went to make us feel welcome is very much appreciated.

I am sure that Chris also found the visit very useful in his campaign to have the vat removed.

Please pass our thanks to your members who provided such a wonderful variety of food which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We are very impressed by the work that all your volunteers do and the service you provide to people of Bolton and other areas

Our executive members have decided that to show our appreciation for the work you do we will be arranging a donation of £100.00 to help your work and I will arrange to bring a cheque to you as soon as I am able to see our treasurer.
