Whilst present providing standby rescue cover for the 13th Anniversary Pike View Hike today, the three man crew of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance BM2 this afternoon, was involved in providing pain relief and then transferring a 28 years old female participant in the event (After first liaising with NWAS Lancashire EOC) to Chorley Hospital, following a recurrence of a previous injury.

The teams involvement commenced at 15.20hrs, with this incident concluding at 17.15hrs.
