Today team Call Out list member and Equipment Officer – Ropes and Stretchers, Michael O’Brien, ran in the BUPA Great Manchester Run 2014 10k to raise funds for our national body: Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

Michael completed his run in 55 minutes 2 seconds, and has raised so far around £245.00 for MREW.

Over 30,000 runners took part in todays run.

Michael reported on his run;

“Absolutely stunning day to run in this huge event, extremely friendly atmosphere in Manchester and my wife and and kids cheered me over the finish line, will run again next year.”
