Following a recent telephone interview, the online publication Mancunian Matters on Sunday 18th May 2014 featured an interview report by Scott Hunt of Mancunian Matters with our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, about the work and role of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team within Greater Manchester.

This is a good overview of the team and yet again illustrates the interest in our work by the local media, and the great help they can provide in informing the public at large of our work.

One very tiny misunderstanding in the excellent report, is that we use pagers rather than a text message to call out the team, as pagers currently provide for us better overall coverage than the mobile phone networks.
