Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

13th August 2012

This morning at 10.55hrs our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was contacted directly by NWAS (Manchester) ECC requesting the teams assistance with an incident in fields adjacent Brandlesholme Road, Bury in the area of Birks Drive, Brandlesholme.

A female casualty was reported injured, and the team was required to assist with her extrication and evacuation.

In consultation with NWAS (Manchester) ECC our Team Leader was informed GMP were on scene and GMFRS had also been called to the incident.

Given the incident location on the eastern border of our operational area, our Team Leader suggested that our neighbouring colleagues at Rossendale and Pendle MRT also be called to jointly respond.

As further action to mobilise both teams was about to be taken, news was received by NWAS (Manchester) ECC that MRT services were no longer required.

This is reported here for information only and does not feature in our incident listings.
