Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th September 2014

Early this afternoon, immediately following the conclusion of incident 79/2014, six team members took our 3.4m long semi-rigid inflatable SAR boat out onto the waters of High Rid reservoir, Bolton, with the primary aim of continuing the “running in” period for our new SAR boat engine (please see recent news article).

We would like to thank United Utilities for kindly allowing us to utilise High Rid reservoir for this purpose.

The team members who took part today are all members of our Water Search & Rescue Team, including Deputy Team Leader Chris Greenhalgh, Equipment Officer (Water) David Cook, John Dickinson, Matthew Hailwood, Chairman Craig Lamb and Trainee DVS Dog Handler Dave Marsh.
