Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th September 2014

As reported on Friday 12th September, our Support Group members were busy holding a store collection on Saturday 13th September at ASDA’s Astley Bridge store on Moss Bank Way, Bolton.

Support Group members Lee Grice, Sarah Hindle, Laura Tunnnicliffe, Steve James, Julie Thompson, Andy Keyworth and his partner, Haylee, worked on a rota basis throughout the day, supported by Team President, Bob Hutchinson, who acts as a team link between the operational and Support Group members.

Thanks to the generous support of ASDA’s customers who paused from their shopping to drop their coins and notes into our collection buckets, the fantastic total of £350.95 was donated towards the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

We wish to thank ASDA Astley Bridge, and their Community Life Champion, Christine Baldwin, for giving us the opportunity to hold the collection in their store, and also the very generous customers who showed their support and interest in our work by stopping to chat to our collectors and by making donations.”
